Menes Gym

A pyramid towers above most of the other buildings in Menes City, with a total height of 150m. The structure is built of sandstone, but it is filled with glass windows. The entrance reveals that the Gym itself is dark and gloomy, with flaming torches offering little light. Hieroglyphs and runes are scattered over the walls, while the main corridor slowly leads trainers lower and lower, to the crypt where the gym leader awaits. Following a long staircase downwards into the murky insides of the massive tomb takes trainers to the room where Carrick, the Leader awaits. The battling arena is a rectangular room, which is quite spacious - a far cry from the narrow corridor that leads there. It is surrounded by statues of ancient gods, which double as torches - huge cauldrons offer some light to the room. Embedded into one of the walls is a coffin - it is here that Carrick rests...
