Key Information
Johanna Wilma Langsam is her given birth-name, though she's taken to calling herself Bête Noire, or simply Noire for short, from a French phrase meaning 'black beast'.
Noire is female, but one wouldn't be able to tell by simply looking at her. As a result, she appears androgynous to all but the trained eye. And, really, she prefers it that way.
No one except Noire knows her true age, or her birthday. Noire, however, is thirty years of age, born April 17.
Noire is a Type Five Shiny Luxray Morph, able to shift between a form that is (nearly) completely human, a much more anthro and frightening form, and a full-fledged Luxray. In all of these forms, she is equipped with sharp, vicious claws and fangs capable of tearing and ripping if worst comes to worst, as well as a pair of various powerful eyes, having inherited Luxray's x-ray eye ability. She also has heightened senses, which become even more heightened the more animalistic she becomes. The final thing she seems to have gained from being a Morph is a deadly sort of grace. The woman has become quick-footed and well-balanced as a result.
Appearance:
Never before have you seen such eyes stare at you, so piteous, yet malicious in their intensity. Captivated, you hold the strange, unblinking look, deeming it a mistake to blink or glance away from the person. The eyes themselves, a golden yellow in coloration, have whites stained with red. You have never seen such a strange optical pattern, though that isn't the thing that chills you. What chills you is the way it watches you, as if scoping out every weakness your poor, pitiful body holds. There's a hunger in its gaze too, a voracious, raging hunger which gives the impression of wishing solely to tear all of your flesh from your body. For a few moments, as you are caught in this gaze, you forget that you are looking at a creature which is still somewhat human.
Those eyes finally blink. It's only a split-second closure, but it's as if the person has broken some sort of spell upon your being. You flick your gaze from those eyes, trying to push away the strange feeling you got from it in the first place. The feeling that this was an animal, not a Morph. You scan the rest of their face, being sure not to become locked into yet another staring war. The skin, like the rest of her body's, is rather pale, a smooth, cream color which seemed to sport no natural blemishes. However, at this distance, you make out the thin, jagged lines which cross over diagonally, starting from the forehead above the left eye and ending just under the jaw. It's as if some monster has raked its claws across the human's face. Despite this flaw, there's a certain beauty about the Morph, a beauty that you'd almost admire if you weren't quite so on-edge about the Pokemorph's general way of being.
The face is mostly human too, save for those strange eyes which still follow your every movement. The nose is rather short and thin, surprisingly delicate-looking when paired with those eyes. The lips are rather long and thin, especially when they are parted into a grin, as is the case now. The Morph appears to have rather long, sharp teeth, and it only grins and displays them more at your reaction to seeing the gleaming fangs. It's almost as if it's taunting you, teasing you with the fact that it could probably bite your throat out if it so much as willed it. You aren't very fond of this creature.
The eyes are partially obscured by a thick mess of hair, though for some reason that didn't seem to make the look any less powerful. The hair is of a decent length, and it is straight and black in its appearance, completely absent of any semblance of color. You note that is it partially flattened by a fedora, also black in its coloration, save for a thin, white piece of fabric wrapped around it.It looks like a very expensive hat, and you ponder why such a creature would even wear such an article. It seems to clash greatly with its demeanor, which has only grown queerer as you continue to glance the creature over. It is now watching you with stare of, strangely enough, certainty. Is that dread that you see in its eyes? You can't be sure, and part of you doesn't want to know. This person seems... haunted, almost, seems as if they aren't entirely there with you. You take a hesitant step back, and the creature closes the distance with a long step. As you gaze up, you realize just how tall the thing is in comparison to you, at least a good six-feet. It doesn't do anything to quell your fear.
There's a flash of gold, and you realize that the creature has even more inhuman qualities than you'd first seen. Long, narrow ears, furred in gold, flatten against the base of the creature's skull. There's a strange luxury about the fur, a way it shines in the light, as if it were made of crystals. The ears are large and obviously quite sensitive, though their flattened state seems to indicate clear hostility. You aren't surprised, of course. Every inch of this person seems to radiate malice. A long, black-furred tail is also present, swaying back and forth slowly. It ends in a golden-orange sort of star-shape. The creature takes another step forward, closing the gap between the two of you, before speaking. Its voice is awful, raspy and low, with the hint of a growl in the back of the throat.
"What's this, human? Clear your head,
for I can see the things you dread.
Monsters? Demons? Dreams misled?
Or, perhaps, simply, being /dead/."
The raspy voice breaks into a cackle as the strange rhyme ends, and the beast's grin spreads to an almost impossible point. As one of its hands raises, you see the claws as they unsheath. Shaking a bit, you back away more, stumbling. The creature chuckles again, this time continuing its progression towards you. You can't help but marvel at how strange the creature's actions are, through your fear. Its clothing is nothing short of gentleman-like, a neat black-and-white suit, greyscale in its entirely save for a partially obscured tie, which is black with a few hints of the same gold of its fur. However, you can't focus on that right now. All you can focus on is the creature as it nears, on its eyes as they stare you down. You're so focused, you barely note the strike when it happens. You do notice the pain however, and the dry, pleased chuckling as you collapse to the ground, vision fading to black.
