Key Information Allie Lena Thomas is a seventeen year old blind human female.
Appearance: Allies skin is a nice medium. While she does not look burnt she does not in any way look pale. Instead she has a nice natural tan, no sun needed. Freckles go over the bridge of her nose, a light shade of orange/brown. Her teeth are rather straight and well-kept due to her fondness for dental hygiene. A prominent jawline and high cheekbones add to her more attractive facial features. Going a little lower are her shoulders, lean yet strong. Her back is dotted with a few freckles, but not to many. She has a rather lean hourglass figure with only small curves.
Her eyes would be green, emphasis on would. Instead they have scratches covering them, rendering her blind. Allie's hair is rather long and wavy. It is a light fiery red in color. She always tries to keep it nice and untangled, it looks much better that way. However, it has a habit of tangling up when she sleeps. When this happens it can take up to an hour to untangle, aided by the fact that shes blind.
When it comes to dressing she can be seen wearing some rather odd combinations. This is because she refuses to deal with the humiliation of someone helping her dress, instead choosing to chance literally getting dressed blind. If she could see she would be dressed in all the latest styles and fashions, a bit of a trend setter.
Personality: If you where to try to sum Allie up in one word it would be passionate. Whatever she does, be it good or bad, she will go at with the ferocity of the might of the strongest storm. This includes determination, the words giving up might as well not even be in her vocabulary. However, while she does not give up she might begin the doubt herself. Maybe she will go wrong, maybe she is not up for the task. Yet she will fight to the end, even if every step is torture. Allie is not quite sure how to handle romantic relationships with others. While she will commit herself fully she will also stumble and put herself in many foot-in-mouth situations.
One of the many things she loved when she had her vision was art. Although she can do nothing with it now she still likes to pretend she can, picturing masterpieces in her mind.
Did I mention that she is passionate? Well this fact also helps fuel another less savory aspect of her. Allie hates Pok?mon. In her mind they are all beasts, vermin that should be eradicated. Should she find an injured Pok?mon in her path chances are she would turn around and walk away, leaving it to rot. In fact the only reason that she is even going on a Pok?mon journey is because her therapist and doctors ordered it to 'help her recover from her phobia.' You see the doctors believe that she fears Pok?mon, however this only holds true for fire and dragon types. There is only one thing that she despises more then Pok?mon, and that is Pokemorphs. She was always a little scared of them as a child, then one came and took her sight. Now she views them as monsters, all horrible monsters. In her mind all deserve a miserable and painful death, even if she has to do it herself. Especially if she gets to do it herself.
History: Once upon a time a girl was born. A girl with fiery red hair and beautiful green eyes. She used these eyes to look at beauty, anything beautiful that she could find. A tree, grand works of art, she would look at it then attempt to draw it. This was a habit that began when she was three and would remain until she was fourteen, when tragedy struck.
Allie was always an artistic girl. When she was only three years old she began to draw, sloppily sketching trees and trying to paint flowers. Her parents, Tom and Linda Thomas, did all that they could to encourage this. They would buy paints and markers and pencils, all to help her grow and learn.
While her family lived in Violet City, Johto, they often vacationed in Solastella. While Allie loved the place there was always one aspect that scared her. The Pokemorphs. Creatures that where not human nor Pok?mon but some unholy mixture. She went to great lengths to avoid these creatures, even going as far as hiding whenever she saw one.
As time went on Allie began to blossom as an artist. Her parents where very proud of her and often took her anywhere that would let her display her work. At one point a professor at a collage that worked heavily in art said that if she kept it up she might even have a future there with a full scholarship.
Allie was fourteen years old when her family went on vacation in Solastella. While she was there she often drew out in the front yard of their rented house, enjoying the sunshine. One day she stayed out after the sun went down and decided to go for a quick walk. She had gotten about a block away from the house when she heard light footsteps behind her, tip tap tip tap.
She slowly increased her pace while hearing the steps become more rapid as she went faster. At first she had thought it was just her imagination, but now panic was beginning to set in. She turned around to see the grizzled face of a Charizard morph grinning at her from not three feet away.
At this point she broke in to a panicked run. The Charizard morph ran after her, laughing the whole way. She tried screaming as she ran, but ether no one heard her or they didn't care. She considered knocking on doors for help, however she had wandered in to a bad part of town made up of mostly abandoned houses.
She let out one last scream before the Charizard morph took off in to the air, grabbing her and pulling her up with her. As he flew he covered her mouth and nose, eventually knocking her unconscious.
Allie woke up hours later in a dark ally to chuckled surrounding her. She opened her eyes to find herself surrounded by dozens of scarred Pokemorphs, a gang. The Charizard that grabbed her stepped out and said, "hello, Allie. We've been watching you for some time now. Even since you first started vacationing in Solastella, its been a little game of ours."
By this point she was nearly paralyzed with fear, she felt as if she was unable to say or do anything. The Pokemorph snickered before continuing, "its rather cute, how you avoid Pokemorphs and try to hide from them. Sweet, actually. However, its also rather rude. Do you know what must happen to rude children?"
There was a sparkle in his eyes as he said in a mock whisper, "rude children must be punished."
He let his voice go back to a normal tone as he said, "we're not going to kill you or rape you. No, nothing like that. You see Allie, you are just to special to give a punishment that boring."
The Charizard morph was silent for a moment before saying, "your quite the little artist, aren't you? It seems you use those eyes of yours to find the most beautiful things in the world. To bad you also use them to judge. Thats what you've been judging Pokemorphs by, isn't it? Their appearance?"
A smirk formed across his face as her said in a mock-kind voice, "thats quite the flaw there, isn't it? Don't worry, we'll fix that for you. Soon you'll be all better."
Allies eyes widened in horror and she managed to croak out of a dry throat, "no, please..."
A harsh laugh swam though the night as the Charizard morph exclaimed, "you won't judge anyone based on their appearance ever again!"
He gave enough time for the words to sink in, enough time for Allie to let out on last desperate scream. The last thing she ever saw was a large, clawed hand swiping across her vision.
Allie was found alone in a cold ally the next day with her eyes scratched beyond repair. She was returned to her parents who rushed her back to Johto, who began searching for something to help her. They searched for three years, however it was proved fruitless. On Allie's seventeenth birthday they moved to Solastella, hoping they could find someone that could recover her vision there. While they discovered no one just yet her new therapist and doctor did make a suggestion. That she go on a Pok?mon journey to help recover from her 'trauma.'
