DUAL PRESSURES PUSH SOLERE DOWNWARDS!
Markets are reacting with volatility to the eruption of Mt. Protos. As well as crippling the ability of Sierraville to transport goods by airship across the island chain, it has led to the implementation of the Emergency Response Plan, which automatically diverts funding and resources in the short term towards dealing with the crisis at hand. This has lead to investors fleeing the Solere, choosing to buy into the Parsenne.
However, there are signs that they may never leave - the Acero2012 plan is proving to be highly successful, with a new government estimate showing the population had inched up to 268,500 citizens since Agnes Herald and Brett Benjamin co-ordinated efforts to increase the population and economy of the south one month ago. This corresponds to a population increase of 28,150 people, which shows the breadth of demand for Acero City property. This has been the second major factor in pushing the Solere down compared to the Parsenne. Many view the Acero2012 plan as a major success in light of the disaster, which has slowed down progress on the similar Marshtown Tech Bay.
