So, just as an addition before launching into this, I'm Seasle from Torrenta. I was thinking about making a Pokémon site after August. I heard about Graz's site and checked it out and fell in love (with the site, not Graz). I would really like to be an active, useful part of Solastella, but I'm afraid I can't do that if I also have my own site. Therefore, I thought, why not have Solastella be my site, since I only had one concrete idea? Of course, it isn't my site, so I ask you, the members, if you would be willing to try this idea of mine.
The idea is this: a site without pokeballs.
To make things clear, I am not saying your characters can't have as many Pokémon as they like, or keep them all. I'm only saying that Pokémon will have to be befriended, not caught, and instead of keeping them in a PC they will wait for you in the place where you met them, and come when you ask for them. You might send them some mail or ask a friend to find them, but this doesn't have to happen. You can just say that your character contacted them somehow and they showed up, no explanation or delay needed.
The only thing that would change is that Pokémon would be out of their pokeballs at all times (though up to six of them can be left at a Pokémon center nearby if your character wants to do that) and while you can battle wild Pokémon with your own, you can't catch them when they faint.
In one sentence, everything is the same, except pokeballs don't exist. This is the clearest explanation I can offer at the moment. Please feel free to ask me questions about it all.
(And also, the skin is beautiful. My praise to whoever made it.)
